At The Bridge, volunteers are how the work happens — and how we live out our calling to serve. Whether you can show up once or every Thursday, you’ll find a shift waiting and a community glad to welcome you. Please select the orange button below to view all available shifts.

How do I sign up to volunteer?

*Individuals and Groups Less Than 6 People*

Step 1) Click the orange button blow that says “volunteer with us today.” This will direct you to SignUp Genius, which shows all of our available volunteer roles.

Step 2) Pick a date and shift that works for you. Scroll through the available shifts. Each one shows the date, time, and how many spots are still open. Click the green “Sign Up” button next to the shift you want. You can sign up for multiple shifts at this point.

Step 3) Press the green “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of the screen once you have clicked your desired shifts.

Step 4) You will be directed to another page. You’ll be asked for your name, email, and phone number. If you are bringing children, please include their ages in the notes section. No account or password needed — just type your info and submit the blue “Sign Up Now” button.

Step 5) Watch for our confirmation email. Sign Up Genius sends you an automatic confirmation.

Volunteer With Us Today

Volunteer FAQs

Please click the orange “Volunteer With Us Today” button to see current volunteer opportunities. Some volunteer roles, like Costco or Food Bank Delivery, involve moving and sorting pallets of food. Volunteers may also help distribute food on Tuesday afternoons/Thursday evenings. 

Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and closed-toed shoes. Many shifts (Costco and food bank delivery, Tuesday and Thursday distribution) are quite active, and you may be on your feet the entire time moving and lifting.

The Bridge Ministries is located at 304 Post Office Street, Bryan TX 77801. When you arrive, please park in front parking lot.

Next month’s sign ups are posted on the last Monday of every month.

The Bridge Ministries has volunteers of all ages–from 4 to 84! Individual volunteers are required to be at least 16 years old to volunteer without adult supervision. If you are bringing your children to volunteer, please add their ages to the notes section in the Sign Up Genius.

SignUp Genius allows you to cancel your shift up to 24 hours before your shift begins. If you cannot attend your shift with less than 24 hours notice, please call or text us at (979) 703-0656.

We love having groups volunteer at The Bridge. Many service organizations, church groups, and student orgs have volunteered with us. We need a heads-up before bringing groups larger than five (5) people, so please reach out to our Pantry and Volunteer Coordinator, cecy@thebridgeministries.org.
