Executive Director

​​Job Summary:
The Executive Director provides leadership for all aspects of the organization's operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, and financial stability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages and directs the organization toward its primary goals and objectives.
• Responsible for all aspects of fundraising for the organization.
• Oversees employment decisions and staff development in the organization.
• Works with the board of directors to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.
• Presents regular reports on the status of the organization's operations to the board of directors.
• Oversees the organization's financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the organization.
• Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the organization's objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance.
• Ensures the organization’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Serves as the company's representative to the board of directors, employees, clients, the government, and the public.
• Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization and as directed by the board of directors.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over all operational areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Nonprofit fundraising experience.

Education and Experience:

• Extensive professional experience in leadership roles.
• College degree. 
• Prior fundraising experience required.
• Non-profit experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Food Pantry Coordinator

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Orders all food/items for weekly distributions.
• Calculates inventory, organizes all incoming food/items and donations.
• Handles and leads monthly food drive donations.
• Ensures cleanliness of the pantry, food storage rooms, refrigerators and freezers.
• Leads and supervises volunteers in preparation of and during weekly distribution, alongside volunteer coordinator.
• Liaison between the Bridge Ministries and the Brazos Valley Food Bank and other local pantries. Attends meetings hosted by Brazos Valley Food Bank

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well in team environment and independently
• Excellent organizational and math skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with public speaking and praying out loud
• Basic computer skills (online ordering, etc.) 

Education and Experience:

• Applicant must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Inventory experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Other Details:

• Job Type: Part-time (10-20 hours)
• Schedule: 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Pay: $16 per hour​
